Printing Off Ideas

Considering I don't show off very much, I wanted to take the time this post to actually share a poem I had published in the Conpareo Online Literary Journal.

Printing Off Ideas:

Sometimes I wish I could grab myself by the hair peel back the scalp take the top of my skull off like a hat and insert a piece of paper.

Print off my thoughts at random as a long ribbon of thought would project from my ear being organized into ideas,

rather than letting them get lost slip through the fabric of the back of my mind and become forgotten during the bustle of my day.

I don’t want to have to go home and send out an amber alert for my barely developed darlings.

Sit at my desk for hours and worry about my lost Inspiration,cold and alone, in a world with no room for Creativity.

This journal didn't make it very far, but I was still pretty honoured when asked for a submission. Who knows, maybe sharing this can spark the next Issue.
